Dare Adekoya is a Nigerian-born business enthusiast. He was born in the western part of Nigeria, Lagos State. He is a Designer based in Lagos, Nigeria and has been able to work with brands like Brük Oil Mill, OneOS, and many more. According to him, he is currently focused on designing usable experiences and interfaces for digital products and websites.


28-Year-Old Dare is a seasoned graphic designer, product designer, programmer, UI/UX designer, mobile app developer, and more. 

Dare Adekoya has led several UI/UX solutions and worked on interfaces and experiences with brands like Linda Ikeji Tv; a video on demand platform that offers you amazing shows and original content, Stanbic IBTC Bank; A Bank in Nigeria, and oversaw the completion of the designs in 2018. That same year, he also worked as a product designer with Swipe Max.

Within the space of 2016 to 2017, he helped redesign the error handling experience for Zenith Bank and assisted in making short animations for companies like Tizeti.

In 2017, Dare Adekoya managed branding elements for Lydia UID Campaign; a small hormonal piece of plastic that prevents pregnancy for up to 10 years. Dare Adekoya was also actively engaged in designing the pre-launch website for the Gomoney Banking app for Sterling Bank Plc which was in 2020.

With such a rich background and experience in the tech world, Dare Adekoya launched his own tech company. In December 2018, Dare Adekoya cofounded Abeg Technologies with Akanni Muheez, a technology firm that developed the Abeg app.

Abeg app is an online payment app that enables users to send and receive money using their mobile phone numbers. The app, which was developed to cater for the needs of a diverse group of people, offers the flexibility of sending and receiving money by simply using phone numbers; easier and quicker at a reduced cost.

Currently based in Lagos, Nigeria; Dare Adekoya has lived a private life. However, he came into prominence when it was revealed that he gave a whooping sum of 2 billion NGN to sponsor the 2021 Shine Ya Eye Big Brother Naija reality show.
 
Despite his success, Dare Adekoya isn’t content with just creating tech solutions, he still plans to create more appealing interfaces for general problems.
